The software files accompany the activities and projects. Some projects are suited for independent review, whereas others are more suited for smallgroup work. Projects are also included, which give students additional review of the concepts addressed in the activity lessons. Answers are also supplied for many of the students' lessons and the wrap-up review activities.

The teacher's notes gave guidance on how to present lessons, listed the concepts and prerequisites that should be stressed, identified vocabulary related to the lesson, and included instructions for teacher demonstrations.

The tours and quick reference guides were very effective in helping us become comfortable with the commands for The Geometer's Sketchpad. Neither my students nor I had experience with this software before using it and the activities that came with the text. Additionally, each lesson comes with a quick reference guide that provides additional instruction relating Sketchpad to the lesson. The first unit consists of tours to introduce teachers and students to the skills needed for Sketchpad's use. The software provides interactive activities and teacher demonstrations that accompany the text. The disks operate in conjunction with The Geometer's Sketchpad software.
